Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Three felonies

My wife worked ina store where she was manager. She took money from the deposits, but she was rolling the deposits for about two months. they found out and they charged her with grand theft,burglary and envesement. The total amount of money that she took is 13,000. i bailed her out. what can we do. im willing to pay the money back in payments . cam we do that?? Also she appeared to cout and they told her that the district attorney is reviewing her case , so she dont have a court date yet.WHAT IS YOUR ADVISE.

Get her a lawyer, and don't talk to *anyone* -- except lawyers you are interviewing -- about the case or try to repay the money unless and until the lawyer you retain says it's OK.

Your wife is potentially facing a long prison term along with a restitution order and other penalties. Take this *very* seriously and start interviewing lawyers right away.

Get a good attorney, right NOW, unless she likes the prospect of serving time. It may be possible for an attorney to negotiate a deal with the store that will stop the DA from prosecuting. Time is critical. Contact me if interested in doing this.
