felony expongement

I am pruod to state that i have completed my felony probation successfully,aprox.13 months ago. on the bottom of the probation form it states that i may have my felonies exponged for job purpouses. how does one go about this ? Can i go pro per?

Many Courts require the probation department to initiate the process, ask your PO to do so. If you had the public defender, or appointed counsel, you can ask the court to appoint counsel for this.

First of all, if you didn't do state prison time, the first step is to file a motion to have the case reduced to a misdemeanor. Then, you file to have the case expunged entirely. I recommend having these procedures done through a lawyer so that it gets done right.

Expungement appears to be available to you, based upon your statement. The process is to petition the court to reduce it to a misdemeanor and then petition to expunge it. That requires filing the appropriate motions and supporting documents. Generally people have attorneys do that for them, but you can do so pro per if you figure out what to do. Attorneys are never 'required', only necessary. I would be happy to do it for you.
