Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
felony record
I am a licensed Bail Bond Agent and I would like to get a Fugitive Recovery License but I have a Felony record for a poss. case with unsuccessful termination of probation. Is it possible for my case be reopened and dismissed? Or reopened and dropped to a misdemeanor?

Re: felony record
You may be able to get it expunged, if that will suffice. It requires a court order, and requires you've weren't sentenced to prison. If you were, sorry. If prison was not part of any sentence, then MAYBE the court will accept the 'termination' as completion. You won't know until you try. Feel free to contact me if you're serious about getting the legal help you'll need in doing this successfully.
