Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I want to know how I can go about getting my fiance's parole out of California anf into Texas. But his parole officer is telling me it can't be done, but he has NOWHERE to live once he gets out. He has NO family that can or will help him or even give him aplace to stay while he finishes his parole. And with him not having a -lace to live out there I know he will just keep getting into trouble. PLEASE HELP.

It can be done, with substantial difficulty. You'll need to first obtain written acceptance of responsibility for supervising parole from the Texas probation/parole department and approval of the court in the county being moved TO. You'll need written commitments from whomever will be responsible for providing his residence, support, and employment. You'll then need to file appropriate noticed Motion and have a hearing in the convicting California court , including service on the local DA and supervising probation department, seeking their approval, which will only have any chance of success with proper acceptance from Texas. Statistically this is not likely to succeed at either end, but it is theoretically possible. There can be no assurances, promises or guarantees of success. If you think you can obtain those written Texas consents, and if the convicting court is in SoCal, and if you are serious, ready, willing, and able, to spend the attorney's fees necessary to pursue these proceedings, feel free to contact me.
