You can request a copy of your own criminal history - go to the California Department of Justice (DOJ) website for instructions. You'll have to go to a local police department for fingerprinting and they'll mail you a copy of your record. There is a fee for it - I think both to the DOJ and for the printing.

Mr. Dane's advice is accurate, and you can follow it as long as you are sure you don't have an arrest warrant for you. If you do, you are going to court in cuffs and an orange jump suit.
