Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
After finding out the defendants real name .Do I need to refile my lawsuit if the original lawsuit was filed to the defendants nick name. Case is in California

No, but you need to read up on proper 'civil procedure' rules and pleadings preparation if you intend to try to pursue this as a ProPer. No amount of hints and tips will educate you nearly enough. You and your pleadings are held by the court to the same standards as an attorney, since you are 'your own' attorney. This time my only 'tip' is to file and serve a proper amendment to the Complaint re-naming the Does you originally listed [right??] as now known names.
