Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Forgery/Fraud?
Some friends and I created an award as a joke. On the award we photocopied our supervisors signature onto it. The award was for ''superior locker puting together skills'' and had a funny picture on it. (Obviously a joke)We at no time made any effort to convey that it was real. We are now being charged with Forgery. Are we guilty?

If you mean you are charged with a crime by the police and prosecutor, then there must be more to the story than you related - and you will need criminal defense counsel ASAP. Fraud implies a financial motive.
If you mean your company is alleging misconduct, and threatening discipline, then you should consider having counsel represent you in the proceedings to minimize the chances of termination.
Either way, feel free to contact me if interested, and this is in SoCal.

I don't believe that you will be convicted for this. Do not go without an attorney. Plead not guilty to this most serious charge. Call me directly at 16192223504.
