I'm not quite sure I understand your question. You have not been convicted of a felony unless you went to court and either plead guilty or were found to be guilty after a trial. If someone told you that you may be charged with a felony, you should see a criminal defense attorney right away. If you do not know any call your county bar association and they can arrange an appointment. In any case you should not talk to anyone other than a lawyer about the case. Do not talk to the "county person," a police officer, an investigator, or anyone else about the case. If someone comes to your door and wants to search your house refuse to give consent. If they have a search warrant, tell them that you do not consent to the search but let them in.
hire a criminal defense attorney to represent you. Apparently you now have charges against you.
If you don't know how to represent yourself effectively against an experienced prosecutor intending to convict, then hire an attorney who does, who will try to get a dismissal, charge reduction, diversion, programs, or other decent outcome through motions, plea bargain, or take it to trial if appropriate. If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, feel free to contact me.
