My friend has been embesseling from his company
my boyfriend has been crediting his credit card through the company he works for. the credit card system suspects him of embesselment and has notified the owner, what can he do to avoid prison? is this a felony or misdomener? can they reach a settlement without him going to jail?

Re: My friend has been embesseling from his company
If he's been stealing, he'd better get an attorney to help him work out a civil compromise agreement to prevent criminal charges. If he stole over $1000, he faces felony prison time for grand theft and embezzlement. Feel free to have him contact me if serious about getting legal help now, or later after he's arrested.
