Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
My friend of mine was just released from SB county jail recently. Upon her release, Riverside County came and picked her up because of a bench warrant she had there.
Can SB County Probation violate and convict her for not reporting to probation right away even if she was incarcerated at the time of her release??

They should not violate her but these things often get messed up. You might do your friend a favor by calling Santa Barbara County Probation and telling them.

Yes. Whether they will is up to her attorney to sort out.
