Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
my friend and her mother were argueing tempers flared and my friends mother began hitting her repeatedly. so my friend locked herself in the bathroom. While she was in the restroom, her mother proceeded to call the police. and claim that she was assaulted with a pair of scissors by her daughter. assault with a deadly weapon and 9 days later .help? can"t we fight this crap. me friend would never do such a thing and even if her crazy mother drops the charges, can't the d.a. pick up the case anyways.
