Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Fundraiser funds distrubution
After my sisters death the school she was attending had a fundraiser in which they advertised all proceeds would go to the family for her 4 kids. The money was not given to the family nor was the family consulted regarding the person they gave the money to. I just want to know is that legal? What if anything can we do about it?

Re: Fundraiser funds distrubution
contact the school, and then the police and district attorney about 'fraudulent' fund raising, if you think the money is misappropriated. The family probably has a legal claim on the money raised, so contact an attorney about making a claim or filing suit. Contact me if interested.
