Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Help! I LOOK Guilty
Out on bail, and looking at a felony possesion charge. I just barely started receiving state disability for mental issues that I needed so desperatly. I am afraid to pled innocent due to the fact that I cannot afford an attorney and I would probably lose without one. I have a second felony possesion charge. (1st was 3 1/2 yrs ago) The only other option I'm assuming is prop 36. If this is the case, would I lose my state disability!?

Re: Help! I LOOK Guilty
Request a public defender if you can't afford private counsel. He can answer your questions once he knows all the facts.

Re: Help! I LOOK Guilty
Get a public defender. It won't cost you anything, and you won't be on your own.
