Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
What could happend to my spouse if is arrested for cocaine and he is also illegal.

He/she could be convicted and deported. Even if the charges are dismissed he/she could be deported. If he/she is convicted he/she could be incarcerated for up to five years before being deported. He/she will never be able to enter the country legally. If he/she returns to the country illegally he/she will be facing Federal charges for reentry after being deported for drug charges.
