She could easily obtain a Restraining Order that would adversely affect him 'forever'.
Re: harassing ex-girlfriend
You are right to be concerned. Your grandson REALLY needs to grow up. Not only can this lady get a restraining order against him, but if she reports his abuse to the police, he is most probably going to wind up back in court on a violation of probation, which will land him in jail. ANY criminal violation is a violation of probation. No trial, just a jail term. Then he can ADD time for the stalking offense as well.
It sounds like he feels he can do pretty much whatever he pleases.
Judging from the times he makes these calls, I deduce a few things: 1) he doesn't have a regular job; 2) He still drinks too much and when drunk makes these calls; 3) He refuses to recognize he has a drinking problem.
Now for the good news: the law has a program to help him reach these realizations: it's called county jail.
He already has a criminal DUI record. Now he's working on a Stalking conviction and jail time as well. Has he NO concern whatever for a lifetime of not being able to get a decent job due to his criminal history?
Some people just have to learn the hard way. You can't change him. I'm sorry for you.
