Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Is it harrassment?
I have an ex-employee from my accounting department who was convicted of embezzlement for $647,000. It was her 2nd felony, the first was fraud in another company. I just found out she is working for a local company as manager of accounting. If I send the company a newspaper article that tells of her conviction could I get in trouble with the law? I would hate for her to put another company at risk again.

An anonymous discrete phone call or mailing of the clipping would be in order.
