Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Hidden Cameras in Bathroom

I am not sure what law this would be under. But am very worried for my grandchildren. We had been siuspicious of our daughters live-in boyfriend a few years aftr they got together.

We found out that he was hiding cameras in the house, my granddaughter told me, and we managed to get a hold of one tape, where it had it pointed in the shower in the bathroom. It appeared as though he wanted to remove it before my daughter came home from work and ended up filming himself removing it and hiding it in the dirty clothes. I guess he didn't notice it was on. When we confronted her about she was shocked but he managed to convince her otherwise. This gave him an opportunity to destroy any tapes he had. We do know he had a tape of my 76 yr. old mother naked because we were notified by some people that they saw when he showed it to him. He has abused my daughter in the past but she won't help herself and realize what he has done. Is there anything we grandparents, aunts and uncles can do to protect these kids. We do not know what films he may have had in the house except what we have but it truly shows his intent.

Re: Hidden Cameras in Bathroom

Somebody needs to file criminal charges against him, on child abuse and on hidden taping. Call the police.
