my brother got 180 days on a drug probation violation. how can i get him on house arrest or work release.

You don't. If his attorney brings a proper motion to do so, the court will consider the arguments, fact and law, and make a decision.

If he has an attorney they may petition the Court to modify probation and allow some sentence other than that which was already imposed........usually requires showing hardship/change of circumstances before the Court will hear the matter.
