My husband has been charged with possession of bullets not supposed to own weapons .what will the do to him

It depends. If his prior felony was also a strike, things change. It also depends on how old his felony is, his entire record, etc.

You need a good criminal defense attorney. I'd strongly suggest you find someone who focuses on criminal law and who routinely practices in the court where this case will be heard.

If he is a "felon in possession", then he faces hard prison time. This was a serious judgment error on his part. Under federal law and prosecution, he faces long mandatory minimum federal prison time if convicted. Under state law and prosecution, not as much, and with a better chance of plea bargaining.
