Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

hello my name is huy ov but i go by my american name tiffany. i was arrested and charged with driving without owners consent, on apr. 26th. i will get into the details when we speak personally. My 1st court appearance, after posting bail last month, is on the 23rd, which is this coming wednesday. im extremely apprehensive and uncertain on what to do, what to say, what i need...etc... Again,i will explain everything when we speak. there is a long, miserable, and naive reason why it took me this long to find an attorney. i am very worried and im restless over this. i pray that it isnt too late for me to have someone represent me or if i need someone at all. please respond asap. my contact number is 213-471-5055. thank you.

When arrested or charged with any crime, the proper questions are, can any evidence obtained in a test, search or confession be used against you, can you be convicted, and what can you do? If Wednesday is to be your first court appearance after posting bail, then it shouldn't be too late to get a lawyer. I strongly recommend that you do so. This is not a situation you should try to handle yourself. If you can't afford to hire a lawyer, the court will appoint one for you at public expense.
