Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
important question
my former roommate has been charged with having sex with a minor. this happened about a year ago. judge said that he can be around minor females under adult supervision, but may not reside with them. i am his former roommate because i have a 10 month old daughter. yet, i don't leave her alone with him, and i have a lock on my bedroom door. is there any way around this? my daughter and i share a room, and me and the individual are not involved in any way, except i rent out a place in his house. i have been residing with friends until i can find a place or other information about this matter. please help ASAP. thanx!

Get out of there before cps gets your daughter out.

Remaining in this home may pose a risk to you and your child. There are new laws regarding custody of a child when the custodial parent resides with a registered sex offender. Although this person may not be convicted at this time merely risiding in the same home as he lives in may result in your child being removed from yur custody.
