what does this mean exactly

When one is charged with this crime, a violation of 273.5 PC (commonly called domestic violence), it means that phyisical force, causing trematic injury was inflicted by a spouse or cohabitant or parent of a child. It is a serious offense. If one is accused or charged with such an offense, there are very serious consequences. You should speak to an attorney who truely understands these cases. If you need further info, you can call me at my office at 661-267-1313. I wish you well. Have a happy new year................ David Wallin
Inflicting iinjury on a spouse or cohabitant. As stated above, it is VERY serious, and any temptation to speak to the police about it, should be resisted.
IT WILL NOT HELP. You need an attorney. Call if you like (800) 468-2-502, I never charge for a telephone consultation.
Spousal abuse / domestic violence. When threatened, arrested or charged with any crime, what can you do? Hire an attorney, unless you know how to effectively represent yourself in court against a professional prosecutor intending to convict. No amount of free 'tips and hints' from here or anywhere else are going to effectively help you in your defense, other than the advice [if not already too late] to exercise the 5th Amendment RIGHT to SHUT UP and do NOT talk to police or ANYONE about the details of the case except through an attorney. That includes on this or any other web site or public forum. Most police and prosecutors will happily tell you that 95% of people convict themselves by trying to be 'helpful and cooperative', either during initial contact, questioning, interview or interrogation. If serious about hiring counsel to help in this, and if this is in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me.
