Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
if an inmate was reported for bringing drugs in through a visit if they are found on tape never entering the area drugs were found and visitor only placing a empty bag of chips near the inmate help but nothing on camera passed to inmate accused what are the chances of accused inmate or visitor being convicted for drugs that were found?

No one can tell you 'chances' without knowing all the actual facts and actual evidence. Drugs 'were found' and thus somebody did something they could be convicted of, if prosecution can prove who and how.
