I'm glad you have not been contacted by by an investigator. If they do contact you your answer has to be "I stand on the Fifth Amendment. I will not speak to you. You may speak to my attorney,." (and you should have an attorney) If you do not have an attorney you still should not speak to anyone. You should not talk to the person who is accusing you. It sounds like a trick to me. Knowing that you should not talk to an investigator they want you to talk to the accuser who probably has a hidden tape recorder that they will play back to the police or the district attorney. You can be sure that anything you say will be twisted and will be used against you.
When questioned, arrested or charged with any crime, the proper advice is: exercise the 5th Amendment right to SHUT UP and do NOT talk to police or anyone about the case except with and through an attorney. If you want to hire counsel to represent you in this, feel free to contact me.
