Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Any Involvement?

My ex brother in law is renting a room from me. He got pulled over a couple of blocks from my house and was arrested for possesion of a fire arm. His friend bailed him out & he goes to court in a month. In that time. can police come to my house & search it ot can they just search his room? And if they find anything, are my kids & I endanger of being involved & possibly getting arrested? I have a 19 & 14 yr old. I want to make sure nothing happens to us. We have never been in teouble in our lives & I want to keep it that way. I don't want to be involved in anything illegal. Please help!!!!!!

With a warrant, the police can do anything it says they can. If you have anything to worry about in your house, you'd better make some changes in his living arrangements.
