Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Juvenile Records

My landlord accessed my juvenile record and disclosed this information to my fellow tenants. I am wondering if a Juvenile record is a public record or if it is something deemed to be private. She is a parole board member and used that position to obtain my records and give this information to other tenants. How private is my Juvenile record if it is not sealed? Is it only available to law enforcement or can those in the community openly access it? if they can access it how?

Re: Juvenile Records

Juvy records are supposed to be sealed from public access, available only to law enforcement and courts. IF you can prove what you say, you have a case for invasion of privacy and related causes.
