Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Hi! I need legal advice. I live in California. My son went to court and the judge out him in jail because he failed to fill out and send the bail bond form. Now he is not allowed to any bonds because i, his mother refused to cosign for him. He is currently at the twin towers correctional facility downtown Los Angeles. My question is how can I get him out of there? He was arrested for a burglary from last year. I need an attorney to represent him in court. He is a meth addict, therefore he committed crimes. What he needs is rehab, not jail time, but the judge won't give it to him. How can I help? Lawyers are way too expensive.

Anyone can bail him out at any time, as long as there is bail 'set' on the case. If the judge changed this to 'no bail', you are out of luck.

Either way, you should consider hiring him a lawyer before bailing him out. I'm available if you can afford to do so. Since you apparently can't afford to hire an attorney, he will have to request appointment of the Public Defender. Good luck.
