Nothing you can tell him is going to do him the slightest good, other than to hire himself an attorney. If serious about doing so, feel free to contact me.
Re: legal help for my husband
Tell him that he needs to talk to an experienced criminal law attorney as soon as possible. The charges against your husband are very serious! If you and/or your husband cannot afford to hire an attorney, then your husband needs to ask the court to appoint him a public defender.
Re: legal help for my husband
His bail will be set upon his booking, but it may change (either up or down) at his first court appearance when he goes in front of a judge for the arraignment.
I'm sure you've figured out this is an incredibly serious case he's facing and the best thing you can do is to hire a criminal defense attorney that can protect your husband.
The crime of torture (PC 206) has a sentence of life in prison.
If you're serious about hiring an attorney to represent him, give me a call and we can discuss it further.
Re: legal help for my husband
There is only one answer to your question -- tell him he needs a lawyer ASAP.
Re: legal help for my husband
I have an office in victorville so I am very familiar with west valley. Your husband should NOT answer any questions by law enforcement and he should deny the video arraignment. You should seek legal help immediately. You may contact me by calling my number in the phine book or visit my website at www.wallinlaw.com . David Wallin
