Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Is it legal to sell glass pipes online? I am an artist from CA that has been selling to local smoke shops and now I am thinking of selling online. I know its legal in CA as long as you state its for tobacco use and don't use drug paraphernalia slang.. but I don't know about other states. Can anyone help me out?

Your plan is risky. You could wind up being prosecuted in some redneck state. This happened to Thomas Chong, the comedian, who served time in prison for selling bongs online.

You'll find out whether various federal or state drug enforcement agencies deem them 'paraphernalia' when you get arrested. You can argue your art then.
