Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Legal Terminology
This lunatic beat my Daughter within one inch of her life and they are finally going to have a hearing on the matter. I can't get her to go to court to testify and none of the Witnesses that saw the beating because they are scared he will get out and kill them His hearing is this week and they have him this code that I don't understand. What does PC 2620 Hold, Order To Produce Witness For Court Appearance mean? Plus PC 273.5 (A) Felony and PC 273A(B) Misdemeanor mean? Can we attend the hearing and show them the pictures of the beating he put on her? He has 2 Strikes on his record already, will this be considered a third? We want to go to have him put away for EVER!

Re: Legal Terminology
You want him put away? Good. Now fully cooperate with the DA in doing so, by her testifying. Pictures don't count.
