Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
lent item and cannot get back.
I lent a freind an very valueuable
instrument of mine. The
relationship went sour and now
she has refused to give it back, in
fact threatening that she had sold
it. The approx value is $2500.
What should I do?

Talk to the police, and/or file a civil suit. Those are your choices other than self-help.
