Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
i live in ahomeless shelter and yesterday a pitbull attacked another animal and bit the owner of the victims dog. Well it was all fake and no one was bit but he is acting like he was with wrap on it. Also the homeless shelter never called the police the guy. i even think the pitbull was his own dog that i didnt know about. there was a guy who came on the property with the dog he got loose and ran toward the guy with the dog and then i believe someone grabbed the real dog and re[placed it with a fake one i have no idea what it was so guy number 2 jumps on top of them theres no yelping from the dog number 2 and anyways the guy is like hellllp me whil guy number 1 is standing over top of the pit so i get up and kick the dog in the but 3 time the dog lets go but the owner just pulled his tail cuz i seen him raise the dog up a little after my 3rd kick. is this all legal to do everyone else knew it was fake except me until i thought about it later

And, you're telling us all about this story why? You didn't say you were injured. If someone was bitten or injured by another person's dog, then the injured person could take legal action, call police, hire an attorney, etc. If he does, and wants you as a witness, that would be your only role.
