Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

I live in CA should I bother to fight a HRO from MN? The order was delivered to me by an O.C. sheriff in So Cal. I know the woman. She sent me sexually explicit pics in Ymail and then got a HRO in MN claiming that I took them of her without her knowledge and threatened her with them. If I blow it off will this hurt me in anyway here in CA?

Thanks,

j

If MN law is comparable to CA law, this might be classified as the kind of Restraining Order that results in a lifetime loss of your firearms rights and a 'record' with consequences similar to a felony. I suggest you consult with a MN lawyer to discuss.
