If CA is willing to issue an extradition warrant and transport you to CA, yes, you could be arrested wherever you are. With any warrant, you risk arrest any time you come into contact with law enforcement anywhere, such as at the borders, airports, traffic tickets, etc. Your proper response is to deal with the warrant now, rather than wait to be arrested. If it is for a felony, then you will have to come to CA to go to court with your attorney. If it is for a misdemeanor, your attorney can appear for you, and you would not have to come to CA unless part of the plea bargain involves jail. If this is in Southern CA courts, feel free to contact me if serious about dealing with this properly.
