Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
U.S. Marshall Arrest and crime/bail/crime
If someone is arrested by the U.S. Marshalls, does that mean they are charged in a Federal court? Are there laws that penalize crime/bail/crime? What are some websites where I am able to research this adequately?

Federal arrest means federal charges, which will be disclosed at the time of arraignment. Federal charges typically mean substantial prison time - get an experienced attorney because, as Confucius says: 'man who represents self has fool for client'. A little knowledge [research] is a dangerous thing.
