Penal Code 666 is petty theft with a qualifying prior theft conviction. It is a wobbler, which means it can be charged as a felony with a maximum prison term of three years, or as a misdemeanor with up to a year in jail.
The second part of your question is pretty meaningless. There is probably a judge someplace who gave a person convicted of Penal Code 666 no jail time at all, but the outcome of your case would depend on the circumstances, including the county in which you are charged.
No way to answer that without knowing how it is charged. It could be a one year misdemeanor, or three year felony, all subject to 'prior strikes' enhancement. You attorney's job is negotiating the 'deal' with the prosecutor. Feel free to contact me if serious about defending this.
