Half the sentence for voluntary manslaughter (3,6,11) plus any enhancements for weapons/priors/gangs. Without enhancements 3 years in most cases of which the defendant would do half.

It carries a nominal 3 years in prison, doubled if you have a prior strike, 25-life if you have two priors, plus or minus any enhancements for weapons, violence, etc. If this is you facing charges in SoCal courts, feel free to contact me if serious about hiring counsel to defend you.
