Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
He is not medically cleared to attend arraignment but police wont tell which hospital my brother is admitted to.
He was having a nervous breakdown when they took him. He pushed his wife at the pool because he think she is possessed by the demon. He is bipolar. He was naked when police arrived at the scene. They tazed him twice because he tried to fight off officers. He fell on the ground. Arresting officer said she should have shoot him. He was not armed when they arrived. he only had light bruises when they left. This was April 18, 2018 1:30 am when they took him. April 18, 2018 12:30 Noon- I went to Jail and they said he is still not admitted to jail. 2:30 pm, my brother already has booking number. They said I can not call him because he is still not in the housing unit. April 19, still not at the housing unit. I told them my brother is mentally ill. Talked to the sheriff and explained everything. April 20 2018- date of arraignment. Original time 8:00 am moved to 1:30 pm. Brother was not present in the arraignment because he is not medically cleared. Date of arraignment moved to April 23, 2018 1:30 pm. Officers will not tell which hospital he is.
Why is he not medically cleared? He didn’t have any injury when they left the scene. And why wont they say which hospital?

Asking us ''why" someone else is doing or not doing something is not going to get any answer but rank speculation. Sounds like he is being held on 'psych' or suicide watch, and can't be brought to court until brought under control. Therefore, it sounds like he needs psychiatric help, and to hire a good criminal defense attorney, who can locate him and the prosecutor files to start helping him, and then answer some of your questions. If serious about doing so for him, and the case is in SoCal, contact me.
