Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
In regards to Megan's Law, is there such thing as temporary registration, active only during probation, if the charge is a misdemeanor? If there is, would it be expunged after probation or just removed from the list?

Nice try, no brass ring. Registration is permanent upon a qualifying conviction, unless the convicting court specifically ordered differently. I have not heard of that happening.
