Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Minor under sapena
Can I refuse to allow my minor child to be present in court after being sapenaed? We fear possible reprecussion from the accused and family. If said child is only a witness, will a lawyer needed?

You ignore a subpoena at your own risk, of contempt of court and arrest. Get an attorney to help you. Feel free to contact me if serious, and the case is in SoCal.
