Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Misdeameanor vandalism

2 years ago, i declared no contest for this crime.I had to pay a fine, days of community

service and pay restitutions for 1200 dlls. But the judge dissmissed the restitution due

the plaintiff sued the company

i used to work as a driver. After that i quit that job to dont affect my record,

and i never knew something

about the sue, until nowdays

that i received another copies

from a civil sue from the same person.Today january 14 i went

to the third court just to know that my former company

planned to arrange the case

due if i wouldnt show up to this 3rd court. Now the judge

wants an answer form to next court.I considered, that i screwd that case when i appeared at court when the case is gonna be settle by the other parties. But i considered

unfair the allegations of plaintiff due 90% of this case is a calumny and he is only taking vantage of the insurace company to get profit

is recommendable to vanish from this case? Or continue on this matter.

If this case is in Superior Court, not in Small Claims Court, you need to hire an attorney to defend you, unless you know how to effectively practice law, prepare pleadings, and conduct hearings and trials. Clearly, you don't, and you risk a judgment against you for whatever amount they are demanding. Feel free to contact me if serious about hiring counsel. Your old company is probably not responsible for defending you in this case.
