Does a misdemaenor stay on your record past 10 years?

convictions and your record are 'forever'. You may be able to get it expunged, meaning retroactively dismissed, so you can say 'no' to convictions on employment applications. However, it is still on the record as a dismissed case. Feel free to contact me if interested in expunging it.

A misdemaenor is always on your criminal record. You may able to expunge it and this will help for employment purposes. However, it is still part of your record.
