Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

Misdomenor Grand Larceny

My girlfriend was just arrested in San Francisco on a misdomenor grand larceny warrant out of Anaheim, CA. Can you tell me the probability of Anahiem coming to get her in San Francisco AND the maximum sentence she may be facing for a frist offense with no prior criminal record?

The likelihood is high she'll be transported here, or allowed to post high bail. She'll need an attorney when she arrives. Feel free to have her contact me if serious about getting legal representation.

It is virtually certain your friend will be taken to Anaheim. The sentence, if she is convicted which does not necessarily needs to happen, may be many years in state prison. However, depending upon factors such as circumstances of the offense, her record and other things she might receive probation with little or no county jail time. First and foremost, she needs a diligent and effective lawyer. Feel free to contact me if she is interested in retaining one.
