what will happen if I miss an scheduled court date as prospective juror?

Your jury summons is a court order. They could set a court date for you to appear - this time as a defendant in an "OSC" (Order to Show Cause) as to why sanctions and/or further proceedings should not be lodged against you.
Show up or go through the steps to reschedule. Don't just blow it off.

Potentially, an arrest warrant. More likely a summons to come another day.
