Does informal probation, driving on a suspended license, or false registration, give probable cause to search a person.

All of the above. Probation is what kept you from serving jail time, at the cost of waiver of search and seizure rights; violation of the law would result in arrest and related search.

The terms of probation usually include "cooperate with law enforcement" or consent to searches and so forth.
This ***generally*** means that while on probation, you can be searched by law enforcement without a reason.
