Legal Question in Criminal Law in California

How does one go about obtaining early release from probation? It was a federal criminal case, with no jail time and 2 years probation. There were NO previous crimes, 58 years old, (was officer in company convicted). Having now served over one year, I would like to know how I can go about obtaining early release. Are there any forms I need and what is the process? Thank you.

You can file the appropriate motion, thoroughly supporting the factual and legal basis of your request. You'll have to persuade and convince the judge that there is good legal cause, dramatically changed circumstances, and it is in 'the interests of justice' to do so. Just because 'you wanna', or that the conviction and probation creates problems for you is not good cause. Conviction causes problems for everyone, that is just the natural consequence of crimes and convictions.
