Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
Online Personal Threats of Violence
A member of an online forum has threatened my personal safety and promised violence on sight.
What legal action can I take to ensure the safety of myself and those around me?
We share common associations and activities, so how can i legally protect myself if I unwittingly come into contact with this individual?

Re: Online Personal Threats of Violence
You could seek a restraining order if you have evidence to corroborate your allegations. Feel free to contact me if serious about doing so, if the case is in SoCal courts.
