Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
open warrant
I work two jobs one full time and one part time. I left my part time for a little while because my full time got really busy, when I went to go back to my part time job, which I been with for three years, they had aquired a hiring agency that performs background checks. This process had pulled up this open warrant in butte county over a bad check that was in aug. 1996 and listed as a misd.. As a result of this I have been unable to return to my part time job. They will let me back once this warrant is resolved. but I can not afford to go to jail. I am the sole income for my wife of 13 years and father to 5 kids from this marriage

Hire an attorney in that county to handle it for you.
