Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
If I owe restitution in California and I can't pay it all off before my probation is up what happens? If the amount I'm being charged is very extensive and seems suspicious what are my options for fighting/possibly lowering this number?

Any such 'fight' over the terms had to be done at the time of your plea bargaining. Your only option now is to return to court and request additional time to pay.
