Legal Question in Criminal Law in California
parole
i am currently on parole and 2-14-09 it will be one year since my release. when i was released my paperwork stated that there was no restitution owed, however two weeks ago my PO tells me i owe 11 thousand dollars and that i can not transfer my parole from ca. to ohio until restitution is paid. is there any way to change this. why can't i make payments and live in ohio where my family is. my husband died while i was fighting my case and i have no one in ca,

Re: parole
You'll have to try to return to court on a Motion requesting the court make an order clarifying the restitution. Have your attorney do so.
